Why does the fun of learning have to end at the bell? At Beginnings School we believe that young children should love to learn, and we have developed an afterschool program where children can come directly from school to join us for an afternoon designed to continue enriching their personal responsibility and character development.

Our afterschool program, My Clubhouse, balances active outdoor time with quiet indoor time where we will encourage your child to explore and interact with the other children and the world around them.

A typical afternoon includes:

Doing crafts, reading literature and practicing development skills indoors.

Exploring how things work through our science-oriented units, focusing on engineering, treasure seeking, and cooking.

Playing outdoor field games and sports, and exploring nature.

For the older children, time is set aside for working on their homework.
